Maintenance of steam turbines
Today, there are KK&K turbines in operation that were installed several decades ago. With properly performed maintenance according to plan, the lifetime is very long. Condition-based maintenance is possible for plants with digital monitoring (“condition monitoring”, see Digital). For older plants, the maintenance plan is followed, which can be supplemented with an annual vibration measurement to either extend the revision interval or to find any deviations before they disturb by becoming faults. The cost of planned preventive maintenance is often a fraction compared to a stop and subsequent corrective maintenance. Interturbine offers and project manages complete solutions for steam turbines, up to 12MW, according to customer requirements.
Maintenance agreements as well as agreements for continuous vibration measurements can be offered.
Through partnerships, we can also help you with turbines from other brands than KK&K/Howden.
