Howden continuously works to evolve digital solutions for monitoring and prediction (“Digital twin”). For older turbines it’s usually only relevant with vibration monitoring, either if there is a reason for measuring, or before a planned maintenance so that the right job can be completed and the right space parts be ordered. With the help of modern tools, it is often possible to prolong the maintenance intervals, which were calculated long before digital tools for construction and condition assessment existed.

Interturbine offers digital solutions for continuous monitoring, as well as occasional measurements, which is useful for example before a revision. This is so that the correct maintenance is done, and the correct spare parts are ordered and used.
